Director of Stables Grounds, Clinical Counselor, Equine Specialist
Kori Cripe BSN, School Counselor, M.Ed
Kori Cripe has a professional resume that is hard to beat. Her early career in nursing led her into the schools as a School Nurse. She then continued to develop her helping profession resume by adding clinical counseling/school counselor. Add in the fact that she ALSO has her Masters in Education and Administrator’s License and it makes her an exceptional program director! Kori grew up riding and showing horses and now is a well known miniature horse/donkey breeder in Michiana. Her love of horses and helping students shines through in how hard she works for the program each and every day. Her and her horse herd are the foundation of the program!
Mental Health Professional, Equine Specialist
Becca Snider, MA, LMHC
Becca Snider brings 12 years of experience as a mental health therapist in the schools to her role at Stable Grounds. She grew up with horses and was excited to get EAGALA certified so that she could utilize her professional passion for helping children and adolescents and her personal love of horses in this dynamic treatment model. Her expertise in this counseling model and experience at other programs with this type of counseling, has been a huge part of why Stable Grounds has shown success so quickly.

Kahlil Schertz
Kahlil Schertz taught in public schools at the elementary level for 30 years. He retired as a fourth grade teacher just before Stable Grounds opened. He decided to continue helping children in a new role. He got certified as an Equine Specialist and handles daily equine care, building maintenance, and all sorts of projects that arise!

From Indiana Representative to Business Owners, Educators, and Mental Health Professionals, the highly valued group of people bring unique experiences and a wealth of knowledge to help in the decision making of this nonprofit organization.
