Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association

Stable Grounds is a Mental Health Facility located adjacent to the Middlebury Community Schools campus. The nonprofit organization offers mental health counseling Monday through Friday, during the school day with a certified mental health counselor, a certified clinical counselor, a certified equine specialist, and equine (horses and donkeys). Students that are eligible for counseling range from kindergarten through 12th grade. Services include counseling for:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Anger

  • Oppositional Defiance

  • Divorce

  • Grief Counseling

  • Peer Conflict
